The UpSocial project which is supported by the Turkish National Agency under the Erasmus+ program, aims to leverage the potential of digitalization in the tourism sector to empower young people and youth workers with key digital, creative and entrepreneurial competencies. This project addresses the challenges faced by the young generation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as increased unemployment and disrupted educational, social and leisure experiences, by providing innovative experiential learning opportunities.

The project contains 2 main products. The first product which is Digital Tourism Toolkit is like a big box of tools, games, and lessons that help young people learn about how to use the internet and technology for tourism. It's like a guidebook for creating fun and exciting travel experiences using digital tools. These activities are designed to develop participants' skills in exploring cultural and touristic topics and to promote a hands-on approach to learning. By focusing on these areas, the project helps young individuals and youth organizations to launch innovative volunteer initiatives supporting vulnerable populations.

The second output is DT Experiences aims to leverage the potential of digitalization in the tourism sector to empower young
people and youth workers with key digital, creative and entrepreneurial competencies.
The project has also facilitated new learning opportunities and increased volunteering among young people, contributing to their personal and professional development despite the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic. The DT Experience has become a vital component in the EU's employment and inclusive growth strategy, promoting job creation and economic recovery in the tourism sector.
