Italy - At the Siotto High School in Italy, local testing of the DT Experience has yielded remarkable results, highlighting the potential of digital storytelling to promote cultural and tourist attractions. In collaboration with educators, students have honed their skills in creating digital content that showcases the cultural richness of their region.
The initiative focused on equipping students with expertise in storytelling, digital media, marketing, and tourism promotion. This hands-on approach has culminated in the production of four standout promotional pieces:
"Itineraries of the Future": This project promotes an eco-friendly journey to Ussassai, a charming town with a population of 447 in the Nuoro province of Sardinia.
"Food Identity": This piece delves into the culinary traditions of the region, celebrating the unique sweets of Sardinian heritage.
"Video Guide of the Saint Remy Bastion": Students created a comprehensive video guide of the Saint Remy Bastion, a magnificent early 20th-century structure in the heart of Cagliari.
Virtual Tour of Siotto High School: Soon to be released, this virtual tour will offer an immersive experience inside the Siotto High School itself.
Congratulations to all the students involved for their outstanding work in blending education with real-world applications, thereby enriching the cultural tapestry of their region through digital innovation.
